Dr Davies will perform a thorough clinical assessment including a history, examination and review of available test results. Further investigations are often required such as pathology tests, or scans such as ultrasound, CT or MRI. Our team at UroMed will assist you in arranging these tests and booking a follow-up appointment to have them reviewed at your next appointment.

Navigating the private health care system can be daunting process and our experienced team are able to assist with any questions or concerns you may have.
If you are booked for a surgical procedure in a private hospital or day surgery, the team at UroMed will provide an estimate of fees. This will depend on the procedure and may include quotes for other doctors involved in your operation (i.e. assistant surgeons, anaesthetists). The quote is not exhaustive and does not include additional fees charged by the hospital provider or other professionals involved in your care during your admission (i.e. pharmacy, pathology, medical imaging).

Parking is available at the Mater Hospitals complex in South Brisbane. The Mater Hospitals operate several parking stations, including one accessed from Stanley Street or Water Street/Allen Street, one accessed from Vulture Street, and a little further away, one accessed from Hancock Street. The charges for all the carparks are the same across the campus.
The Stanley Street/Water Street carpark is directly adjacent to our building, which can be entered from level 4. Uromed is the first suite on the left (Suite 4.05).
The Vulture Street carpark, underneath the Mater Medical Centre and attached to the Mater Private Hospital, is a short walk through the hospital to our building. Take the lift to level 6 of the Mater Medical Centre parking and walk through the Mater Private Hospital. After Chloe’s coffee shop, opposite the pharmacy, take the corridor on the right, which leads over the busway and into the Mater Private Clinic building. In this building, take the lift down to level 4, to arrive at our rooms.
